Overview. The Luminous Red Galaxy (LRG) Survey is a redshift
survey that exploits the marraige of two unique facilities; the
wide-angle, multi-colour, imaging data of the Sloan Digital Sky
Survey (SDSS) and the AAT 2dF spectrograph. In unison, we are
constructing a volume-limited sample of 10,000 LRGs in the
